Kent's Julian Thompson is to have a bone scan to 
find the exact cause of his ankle injury - he 
wasn't able to bowl in the second innings of 
Kent's latest championship match with 
Worcestershire at Canterbury. 

Mark Ealham will not be able to play in Kent's 
next game with Northants which begins 
on Wednesday, however it is hoped that he will 
be able to take part in the matches with 
Somerset and Warwickshire which end the season. 

Martin McCague hopes to return to the side this 
week after having missed the Worcestershire match 
due a groin strain.
