Pitch update: ECB investigation begins

Harry Brind spent 3 hours at Canterbury 
yesterday during which time he spoke to the
groundsman and was also given a club video
of the 3.5 overs of play possible during
Kent's tour match with Sri Lanka.

It is likely to be next week before the
Pitch Liason Committee make a decision on
what action to take.

Emirates One-Day Triangular Tournament

The England squad assemble today in preparation
for the one-day tri series with South Africa
and Sri Lanka which begins at Trent Bridge
tomorrow.  Mark Ealham is the only Kent player
included in the tournament.

Kent 2nd XI News

Kent 2nd XI beat Hampshire by an innings and 
272 runs in their latest Championship match. 
Kent set Hampshire 377 just to make Kent bat 
again; they were able only to reach 105 all 
out as Min Patel took 5 wickets.
