Australia v England, 5th Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground

John Crawley and Alex Tudor have been brought into the squad for the
5th Test which begins at midnight tonight. However Mark Butcher has
paid the price for a recent poor run of form and is omitted from the
13. Kent's Dean Headley retains his place after his exceptional
performance in Melbourne, taking 6 for 60 (including 4 for 4 from 13
balls). Shane Warne has been recalled to the Australian team, whilst
MacGill has also declared himself fit to play in Sydney. Meanwhile
England have selected spinner Ashley Giles - who arrived in Australia
just 6 days ago with the one-day squad.

England lose to Bradman XI in Bowral

England's one day team were defeated by 51 runs when they took on a
Bradman XI on New Year's Day. The Bradman XI made 238 for 6 from their
50 overs, but England were all out for 187 in reply, with captain Adam
Hollioake (who made 67) getting little support. Kent's Mark Ealham
took 0 for 28 and made 10 with the bat.
