Where teams are level on points, position is determined by average run-rate per over throughout the season.

No result: 1 point

Prize Money
1st: 1000 pounds
2nd: 500 pounds
3rd: 250 pounds

Sixes award: 1000 pounds to be shared equally by each six hit - D.B.Close of Somerset hit the most sixes (13) - there were 422 in all.

Bowling award: 1000 pounds to be shared equally by each four wickets in an innings performance - K.D.Boyce of Essex, D.L.Underwood of Kent and D.L.Williams of Glamorgan each achieved the feat on 3 occasions - there were 65 in all.

Each County received 3000 pounds for taking part.
