Which Kent batsman scored a century against the touring Zimbabweans in 2000? (08 June 2001)

Rahul Dravid granted Most Favoured Nation (MFN) status to Zimbabwe in 1998 when he carved out 118 in the Harare Test. India lost the game but Dravid never lost his devastating relish for Zimbabwean bowlers. When Zimbabwe toured India last November, he scored a double hundred in the first Test in Delhi and a mere 162 in the second Test in Nagpur. Dravid cranked out 432 runs in the series before being dismissed for the first time and took his Test average against Zimbabwe to a jawdropping 198...until it came crashing down to 159.5 on the second day of the Bulawayo Test.

There was one another occasion when Dravid came into conflict with Zimbabwe in first class cricket. Touring England in 2000, the African nation was handed a warm-up clash against Kent at the St. Lawrence Ground in Canterbury. The visitors crumbled after winning the toss and taking first strike but they quickly had Kent in trouble at 11/3. With the native talent having come a cropper, Kent turned to their overseas player for succour. Dravid did not decline the SOS call. Against an attack comprising Streak, Mbangwa, Johnson, Nkala, Whittall, Viljoen, Flower and Gripper, he struck 182. It was more than the entire Zimbabwean team could muster in either knock.
