The Canadian innings was all about one man - John Davison. A
little- known off-spinner who was not good enough to make the
Australian team, Davison smashed the fastest century in World Cup
history at Centurion on Sunday. His 111 from 75 balls in 98
minutes, which included eight fours and six sixes, easily beat
his previous highest score at senior level, 72, in Australia's
domestic first- class competition.
