Kenya made a solid start to their run chase, ensuring that they didn't lose a wicket early. Tragedy struck in the eighth over as Ravindu Shah (14) was once again run out. Two overs later, Steve Tikolo attempted to pull a snorter from Blignaut and skied a catch to Streak on the off side. Henry Olonga bowled a very long over, the 17th of the innings, over-stepping the crease some four times. But, with the last ball of that over, Olonga sent back Kennedy Otieno - trapped leg before for 19. Kenya looked like edging towards a disaster at 62/3. Thomas Odoyo and Maurice Odumbe ensured that there were no further hiccups, smashing 73 runs in the next nine overs.
