With India traveling to Zimbabwe to play a two Test and triangular one-day series, all eyes will be on Ramesh and Das to provide a solid opening stand. Unfortunately, Ramesh has had his share of problems against quick bowlers with the ball moving around in the air and off the wicket. The Tamil Nadu southpaw often plays at the ball even when it is far away from his body and this has led to his downfall on more than one occasion. Funnily enough, Ramesh's average outside India is slightly better than his average at home! Perhaps this tour of Zimbabwe will be the one in which he silences critics once and for all.
