Ganguly has had to deal with criticism about his bad run of form. He has dealt with his personal problems with a lot of determination, making sure that his team never suffered from it. It must be a distressing sight for all his beloved fans to see him struggle in the middle. In Ganguly's own words: "I am trying to stick to the basics. I am trying to stick to the things that I have done when I have scored runs. I think this is bound to happen in your career. I have been around for five years. And this is the first time I am going through such a thing. And I hope that I come out quickly". Somebody needs to tell the Indian skipper, "Form is temporary, Class is permanent."
