I have great pleasure to inform you thatPakistan Women Cricket Association has formed last year '77. In their inaugural meeting the following members were elected.

Unfortunately due to unfavourable atmosphere prevailing in the country followed by the closing of the Institution. The Training and Coaching activities could not be continued. Because due to financial stringency the Association could not afford to purchase necessary gear & equipment.

Since all the Education Institution including schools and colleges have opened the sports
activity has brightened. The Executive Committee of the Pakistan Women Cricket Association have decided to hold training and coaching camp at the premises of Lahore College for Women from 1st week of November '78. Dr. Miss. Iqbal Dar has very kindly agreed to place the ground of the College at our disposal and also promised to help us in allied matter. We have already arranged with the N.S.T. to place the services of Mr. Nazar Mohammad National Cricket Coach to supervise the training and coaching.

Some-time back Mr.A.H.Kardar Former Chairman of the BCCP had very kindly donated complete set of cricket gear to Educational Institution as well to Cricket Clubs in Lahore.

As Cricket Association has recently been formed, they are not in a position to purchase Cricket gear for the Women Cricketers due to paucity of funds. The Executive committee have decided to establish a coaching center for women cricketers.

In view of our acute financial position I on behalf of the Pakistan Women Cricket Association request you to kindly donate a complete set of a cricket gear including cricket balls for the training and coaching camp.
