BIOGRAPHY

Tom Benade
Promising Academy all-rounder Tom Benade is fortunate to have a second chance after suffering an error that was not his fault. Barney Rogers
Barney Rogers comes from a cricket-loving family, his father having played first-team cricket at school and his uncle Brian for the national schools team in 1974 and 1975. [More]

Blessing Mahwire
The emergence of Blessing Mahwire as a promising cricketer is notable, not simply because he is a black player who could become a genuine all-rounder but also because he comes from Masvingo, a province where cricketing roots are still quite shallow. [More]

Kingsley Went
Kingsley Went, who lives in Mutare and plays for Manicaland, was one of the 2000 students at the CFX Academy. He is a promising top-order batsman who used to keep wicket at times but is now developing his off-spin bowling. [More]
