why is indian cricket for ladies not properly organised as the mens version. no money as the mens version. the mens version is the richest association in the world. its just good administration and good accountability. does it mean there is lack of interest among the top executives or do not have the enough manpower or rather womanpower to run the indian ladies all india cricket association. it is rather sad that even the various cricket websites do not have any news about the indian ladies programmes. unless there is enough propaganda and continuously news in the limelight there would be no interest nor funds coming into the coffers of the indian ladies cricket. there have to be a change at the top and revolution in the committee for greater participation and better results. let all come togehter and help the ladies cricketers climb the ladder. let there be new blood infused and new ideas pursued. an example, let there be a federation cup only for the winners of the five zones, without the institutional teams. this would help the winning states team to get a much needed recoginition and also get state sports funds. this would help the states to have headlines in the local news and this in turn would churn more yooungstars to take up the game of ladies cricket. there has to be one day and also the longer version of 3 day games at the national level to entice more news for the newsagencies. there has to be a concentrated effort by the top brass to take this matter seriously and pursue with a military discpline. there has to be greater public relations work to be done. let us have the pretty damsel faces on the front pages of the morning papers, breakfast news tv programmes, be part of midday editions. let the eves be noticed on and off the field, in and outside the 'whites'. simply lets not have the slogan "out of sight - out of mind". there is always hope at the end of the long dark tunnel. let the country watch and hear and feel this change. let the calendar of events be published for the general public to know where and when there would be a cricket match/tournament of the ladies, to go and watch and enjoy the game. there should be a yearly calendar and unless there is natural calamities there should be no changes. god save the ladies cricket from uncertainities.amen.
