Day Three at the Wankhede saw Rahul Dravid (39) and Sachin Tendulkar (65) adding 97 runs for the third wicket. Both the senior India batsmen applied themselves in to play a long innings. Tendulkar was unlucky to get out, when he heaved a full toss from Mark Waugh straight onto Justin Langer at forward short leg and the ball popped up in the air, for Ponting to take a spectacular diving catch. Tendulkar looked up at the heavens and walked back to the pavilion in absolute disbelief!
