2nd Test: 11-15 Mar 2001
Harbhajan Singh was easily the best of the bowlers, finishing the first innings with the
figures of 37.5-7-123-7. The hat trick made it just too special for the young sardar from
Punjab, who had a wretched beginning to his career with all kinds of problems, from a suspect
action to a suspect temperament. He seems to have buried his past and done the right things to
settle well into the team and take up the mantle of strike bowler. A remarkable turn around for
this young lad, who gives the ball a big turn!
