(Colombo 6th ODI - 28 Jul 2001)
After 42 overs, the left-arm seamers Zaheer Khan and Ashish nehra were
brought back into the attack and they did well to polish off the Sri
Lankan innings. Suresh Perera (4) could not produce any of his big
hitting magic; he was cleaned up by a Zaheer Khan yorker. The resistance
of Russel Arnold (11) ended when he square cut Nehra straight into
the hands of Yuvraj Singh at point. Dharamasena (1) fell to Khan and
the unorthodox batting of Muttiah Muralitharan came to an end when
Nehra yorked him. Sangakkara (2) was the last man to be dismissed,
he was run out by Dravid and the Sri Lankan innings came to a grinding
halt at 183 in 46.5 overs.
