Chris Harris' was snuffed out by Dilhara Fernando, trapped in front of the wicket; he made 18 runs off 65 balls and held the faltering innings together for a while. Kyle Mills (18 not out) and Daryl Tuffey (20 not out) added 32 runs for the last wicket and took the total to 115/9 in 36 overs. Sri Lankans had all reasons to celebrate a memorable 106 run win as they assured themselves a place in the final to be played on 5th August. It was truly a commendable team performance and Chaminda Vaas took the Man of the Match award.
