When the match looked sealed in favour of West Indies, Indian allrounder
Reetinder Singh Sodhi and wicket-keeper/batsman Sameer Dighe put up a brave
fight. Sodhi made 63 attractive runs with the help of three boundaries and
three sixes, adding 101 runs for the sixth wicket. Dighe remained unbeaten
on 94 made in 96 balls with the help of two sixes and seven boundaries.
