Profile: As the elder statesman of the side, Kieran will provide the experience and leadership. A year abroad in Durham has sharpened his instincts and he is keen for success both with ball and bat.

Bowling: RF

Profile: Skhawat brings quick and consistent bowling to the side and gives the middle-order a distinctly solid look. He studies at Delia Memorial School in Hong Kong and plays for Little Sai Wan Cricket Club.

Bowling: LS

Profile: A rapid developer over the last year, Yogesh has matured into a class bat. An aggressive and flashing start is guaranteed at the top of the order. He plays for Kowloon Cricket Club.

Profile: Zain’s versatility makes him an indispensable member of the side; he offers elegant stroke-play, miserly bowling and sharp fielding. He plays for Little Sai Wan Cricket Club.

Profile: Nick belongs to the new generation. Excellent in the field, accomplished at the crease and starting to show real promise as a ripper of the ball, he plies his trade with Islanders Cricket Club.

Profile: An extremely promising spinner, Nadeem embarks on his first Under-19 tour keen to succeed. Also an outstanding fielder, this young man should make a name for himself in Karachi. Nadeem enjoyed a good season with the Kowloon Cricket Club.

Profile: Moazzam also makes his debut this summer, combining a masterful tweak of the ball with a genuine cricketing brain. Bolsters the lower order with powerful hitting. Kowloon Cricket Club has employed his services to good effect this year.

Bowling: RF

Profile: Mustafa’s seam and swing, allied with searing pace, make him the complete opening bowler. Happiest amongst the wickets, he should make good use of the tracks in Karachi. Also handy with reverse swing. He burst onto the scene with a good debut season for Pakistan Association.

Bowling: OS/LS

Other: Wicket Keeper

Profile: Matt is a vocal and motivational wicket keeper. He combines great hands with ease of movement behind the sticks and will be hoping for a few scalps off the bowling of the likes of Moazzam and Nadeem. Partnered Nicholas at Islanders Cricket Club this season.

Bowling: OS

Profile: Arguably the most economical bowler Hong Kong has produced, Zaran offers stability in the middle overs and lightning fielding. His batting has remained on the back burner. Kowloon Cricket Club has been his club side for the past few years.

Profile: Like Zain, Irfan is a genuine all-rounder. The youngest in the side, great things are expected of this man. Subtle stroke-play and probing medium pacers as well as athletic fielding have marked him out as one for the future. Joined his elder brother Nadeem at Kowloon Cricket Club this year.

Profile: Can expect to top the order with Yogesh. He provides the perfect foil to his dashing opening partner, with consistent and dependable batting. Also very sharp in the slips. Has played for both Kowloon Cricket Club and Little Sai Wan Cricket Club.

Profile: Elegant and cultured with the bat, beguiling with the ball, Colin also offers maturity to what is a young side. Has proven reliable in the middle order at finessing the runs when power hitting has been difficult. Colin will be looking to continue his fine season with Kowloon Cricket Club.

Other: Wicket Keeper

Profile: An occasional bowler, Courtney will be scoring his runs in the middle order. An uncomplicated style has served him well, and he provides back up with the gloves should it be needed. Kowloon Cricket Club was Courtney’s base this year.

Profile: Tabarak manages the side once again and has helped massively with the preparations for the tour. He watches over Skhawat and Zain at Little Sai Wan Cricket Club when he dons his whites.

Profile: Lal has once again put in a great deal of hard work getting us ready for the tournament. Innovative and motivational as a coach with an absolutely first-class cricketing mind, he has been, and continues to be, an inspiration.

Profile: Philippa joins the team for another tour and her hard work is very much appreciated. She also does a lot of work on the professional tennis and golf circuits.
