Shaun Pollock's LOI Batting and Bowling Careers Atul Kahate - 26 March 1999 Shaun Pollock has become the tenth South African to score 1000 runs in Limited Overs International (LOI) cricket. In the same match, the fourth (replayed) match against New Zealand, he also took his 100th wicket - the second South African after Allan Donald to do so; thus reaching the two milestones and completing his 'Double' in the same match: his 68th - the fastest 'Double' ever. With a batting average of nearly 30 (with 83 runs every 100 balls faced) and a bowling average of less than 24 (with a wicket every 6th over bowled and conceding less than four runs per over), he can be ranked among the best all-rounders at the moment in world cricket. The following tables show Pollock's batting and bowling career perfromances against all opponents updated to the end of and including 26 March 1999.
