Hungerford Cricket Club - Re-formed 1948

Hungerford Cricket Club played cricket at Hungerford Park until they moved
to the present War Memorial Ground after the end of World War II.
When playing at Hungerford Park, Hungerford twice played against and
England XI whom they defeated twice.
Jason Laney, the present Hampshire opening batsman is a young player who
came through the ranks of the Hungerford Youth policy.
Present day players include Toby Radford (Middlesex and Sussex) and
captain David Pryke (South Africa and Northern Districts).
