Congrats to Canadian team. At one time of the tournament, I was worried but in the end you guys pulled it off. Special thanks to my friend Sanjay, Melvin and Ishwar. You guys need to stay focused and do some damage at the world cup guys. See you some time in Toronto. Oh Rana says Congrats too.

Great stuff Canada. I have been following you guys from here in Australia and was absolutely amazed to here you got in. I can't wait to see you guys perform against the top sides. Lets hope you can pull off some upsets. Everyone should still remember when Kenya beat the Windies in 1996. That was incredible. A performance like the one against previous world Cup qualifiers, scotland, you should be able to run close to some of the teams in your group. At the moment, according to things I have read, you are in the group with Kenya and Bangladesh. So there are two possible victories. Then again, you could do a Bamgladesh on Pakistan. I can remember that humiluating result by Pakistan. There were bookmaker reports so maybe that isn't the best example of a upset. Anyway, enough blab, Good luck in your warm-up matches and tours. I can't wait to watch you perform. Bring on Canada and the 2003 World Cup. I'll be there !!!

Cana-done it!!! You and Team Canada have given us cricket lovers of Canada two reasons to hold our heads high - a magnificent (the best) ICC tournament in every respect, and qualification to the World Cup. I can see cricket gaining a high profile in the country now. Congratulations!

Congratulations to Canadian National team for qualifying for 2003 World Cup in South Africa. Special mention to Barry Seebaren, Davis Joesph, Joe Harris (capt) and Sanjay who all played major roles in leading Canada to this remarkable feat. Excellent preparation by the coaching staff and Canadian Cricket Association for the ICC tournament.

Dear Geoff I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Canada for its good performance and qualifying for the 2003 World Cup. As a former captain of Canada and having played in three ICC Trophy tournaments myself, I can imagine the 'awesome' feeling of everyone and must therefore congratulate Joe Harris and the rest of the management team for a job well done. Special mention must be made of Davis Joseph who I know must be overjoyed. Finally, I must congratulate you , Austin Ward, Martin Vieira, Ben Seebaran and the rest of the Canadian Cricket Association as well as all the volunteers for doing a good job in sucessfully hosting a good ICC Trophy.
