Fantastic! Really enjoyed watching your team participate in the Cup. You did yourselves proud. Davo is my new hero! Go Davo! Caned those Kiwis and Windies. Now maybe South Aust will select you in the one-day squad!

I'd just like to send my congratulations to John Davison and the entire cricket squad of Canada on their first world cup cricket appearance. Coming from an Indian background, born in Canada I have several family members and relatives in North America and in India that were impressed with John Davison's performance and I'd like to wish the team further success in upcoming National cricket matches. Thankyou.

Well done team Canada. You have done us proud. Playing with the big boys and setting all manner of records. The world cup won't forget your efforts for a very long time. I just hope to see John Davison in a Redbacks guernsey next season in South Australia. Cheers Brent (South Australia)

Congratulations, Canada! I'm sure you took the rest of the world by surprise with your excellent play (except in the one unfortunate game), and you should have created the basis for the strengthening of the game in Canada. And, of course, multiple congrats to John Davison, whose performances have been superb. You've even managed to get the press in Canada totake notice, some achievement! Boyce Richardson

My personal congratulations to the Canadian team on a fine performance at the World Cup. Sri Lanka apart, you showed you deserved to be there and your play was a credit to Canada and cricket in north America generally. John Davidson should be a Canadian folk-hero!

Congratulations with a strong performance at the CWC. The cricket comunity here in Fort McMurray, AB feel the Canadian matches should be broadcast on CBC to generate more public interest. Keep up the good work.

I was quite impressed about Canada's overall perfomance in World Cup Cricket tournament. It was aplentid show in our first world cup competition. We will learn but we need to concetrate more in promoting the game by showing International games in our Television as well as to introduce the game to the young ones. I hope the authorities are worrking on many aspects to bring interest and eventually make cricket popular in our country.

To the entire team, well done! I am a cricket fan for 50 years and love to hear questions and comment from fellow Canadians about the game. Team Canada has made an impression on the front and sport pages with some extraordinary outings at WC2003. Imagine what we could do with a little more support! It's all on a shoestring, but it's great fun. Good effort against SA all round.
