India scored at a rate of above six runs an over, Caddick and
Anderson taking severe punishment from Tendulkar and Sehwag. But
then, Andy Flintoff came into the attack and took control of the
game. He bowled an amazing spell 10-2-15-2, claiming the wickets
of Sehwag (23) and Tendulkar (50), and effectively putting breaks
on India’s scorching run rate. Ganguly and Mongia were kept
bottled by Freddie as India struggled to break free. With
Flintoff keeping things tight, Craig White benefited as Ganguly
scooped a catch in an effort to cut loose.
