(2nd Test: India v England at Ahmedabad, 11-15 Dec 2001)
Anil Kumble is a different bowler in favourable home conditions. His new googly that bounces more, has done him wonders, fetching him a lot of wickets. Kumble picked up all the first five wickets to fall in the England innings and went on to end up with figures of 51-113-115-7. The English batsman had no answer to the googly, which even went on to deceive the umpire Ian Robinson into making a couple of wrong calls. Mark Ramprakash made a positive 37 off just 49 balls. Kumble though was the star of the show.
