(Harare
2nd Test 15-19 Jun 2001)
The script for play on the fourth day was something familiar to Indian
cricket. A stunning collapse! Indian skipper Ganguly's poor batting form is
nothing new these days, he failed once again, trapped plumb in front for a
duck by a charged up Blignaut. That triggered a major collapse as wickets
tumbled in a hurry. Das (70) added just two more to his overnight score and
there was no fight left in the Indian batting line-up. Badani remained
unbeaten on 16. Blignaut 5/74 and Streak 4/46 took the bowling honours.
