Good Luck to you all! As a Canadian born player of this great game I am proud of all of you. I was recently in Australia and talked to many English and Australia supporters during the Boxing Day Test Match. Many of them were surprised to find were in the World Cup. I must say at those moments I was very very proud to say "Yes we'll be there in South Africa". Go out there and do you best we'll be cheering on from here.

Dear members of Team Canada and coach Gus Logie, you've done great to qualify for the Cup and I wish you every success in the tournament! Please know that there are many, many people back home in Canada who are behind you, and our tribe is growing! Remember also that you carry a great responsibility - that of sowing the seeds of Canadian cricket so that the game (the best sport in the world!) flourishes in Canada and we are a Test nation one day! It's possible, believe me. I have seen, as a youngster growing up in India, the emergence of Sri Lanka from oblivion to a cricket powerhouse and World Champions. WE CAN DO IT TOO! And we will! I emigrated to this beautiful country (from India) a few years back and dream of a day when India play Canada in the Super Sixes (I daresay the Finals?). Wouldn't that be terrific, now? And who knows, my son may be batting for Canada!
Good luck, guys!
Shankar

I'd just like to pass on my best wishes for the Canuck team during the World cup. I am totally expecting victories in the first two matches and hopefully be semi compettitive in the remaining games. I'm a Canadian who has lived down under for the past 12 years thus being exposed to the world's greatest sport and am very proud of my home county gaining a berth in the World cup and can't wait to see them in action. Good luck boys.
P.S. Keep your eye out for a couple of lean, mean fast bowlers with the surname of Halliday turning out in the Canadian leagues in the distant future. It will happen. Cheers.

Team Canada, Let me give you guys with some wise tips. Your biggest chances to win games are against Bangladesh and Kenya. About Bangladesh, they will be coming on to you guys like champions, knowing that they have far more experience. But heres the thing, they have tremendous pressure from their country to beat teams like Canada. For them its a must win. You guys have nothing to lose. Comparatively to Canada, Bdesh is much younger of a team, which means they really dont have much more mental experience then Canada, but they do have youngins who can perform. Canada has mix styles of Cricket, WI way, the South Asian, English, And the Ausi way... make use of those. I have seen Bdesh team practise live @bdesh and i have seen Canada's team practise too, not big different as a matter of fact canadians have good talents, its only up to them to perform. Win toss, bat first, the openers should get some serious quick runs, remember to save wickets, cause bdesh have slower bowlers and spinners, so you can use this to your advantage, respect good balls and trust me you will get bad ones. Davison should come to bat @5, Ashish @7, degroot@4, harris@6, maraj@1, Ian@2, Chumney@4,. Expect Davison and Barry to trouble bats and Austin on a good day.No Short, cause these teams can hook. Once you start taking quick wickets, bdesh wouldnt stand but break. Kenya, believe it or not but kenya would give harder challenge, they have some good bats like steve, but here's the thing it has been shown in their records, once they lose their good players in bats, they collapse. Use the momentum, remember the West Indies A games, if we show professionalism, we can win games, we have nothing to lose.
West Indies will be serious against you guys as well as Nz, but better fielding and bowling and Saving wickets can equal to a victory. Cricket is a funny game, you may never know. I will update my theories as the time goes by, remember, these theories are from researches.
Best Of Luck to the most Multicultural Team in the World Cup...Canada.

He guys,
Good Luck on your first World Cup. Success is behind you all 100%. I hope you guys will win this World Cup. Even if you don't, it doesn't matter, don't let your hopes down. Because East or West, Canada is the best

First of all congratulations for making it to the world cup, it is a great achievement. Success is going one step at a time and I hope you can beat Kenya and Bangladesh first, next it is going to be difficult but remember in one day cricket, it is he who performs well on that day whether it be batting or bowling will be the winner and I am expecting a good show against the remaining South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and New Zealand. Play your 50 overs, go for quick runs in the first 15 overs and then consolidate further, run your singles, two's and three's well, hold your catches, study the opponents well and note their weaknesses and strong points. I wish you all the best and will be following your games closely.
