Congratulations on a great victory. Looking forward to more victory.
Comment to Joe: Put Shatar to open the bat with Maharaj and push the others by one down, because you have to make a use of his batting talent as an opener or find the replacement, other than that keep up the same team.

Congratulations to the Canadian Men's Cricket team on the win!
Robin Bredin, Orangeville, Ontario
(P.S. esp. congratulations to my friends, Joe, Josie, and Chumney....)
(I'd also like to communicate somehow with Dr. Edwards, President of the Canadian Cricket Association: Geoff, I was listening to the FAN 590 when I first heard of this stunning achievement against Bangladesh! Later they had on the radio a Eugene Melnyk, the billionaire founder-owner of Biovail Corp., a Canadian pharmaceutical giant. At present, during the winters, he resides in Barbados. He tried recently to purchase the Ottawa Senators in cash! However, he is becoming a big cricket enthusiast in Barbados. He told the FAN that he is on his way to South Africa in early March to watch the SuperSix and Semi-/Finals of the 2003 World Cup. Might he not be a most natural sponsor for Canada at the World Cup even at this late date....regards, Robin)

Congratulations heroes.
Canada's victory over Bangladesh showed everybody that where is a will there is a hope. With no support from financial gods you prove that this is possible. I am very proud to be one of the friends and coworker of Abdool Samad
I am Croatian and I do not know much about Cricket but makes me happy that small guys did it.
Good job! Thank you TEAM CANADA!

Congratulations Boys. You have done our country proud and the profile of Cricket in Canada has only increased ten fold since the news hit the net!
What you did was no small feat and I only hope that your success will only "snowball" and that the people of Canada support your deeds with more than words. It's astounding to think that many of you sacrificed your livlihoods to go and represent out country and achieve a major victory for yourselves and your country. May our country respond in kind and much more success to the team at the world cup.

Where there is a will there is a way! You have done it.Congratulations to the
Canadian team for the win over a test side. It was a joy watching
the match. You have given the other teams a lesson by showing that you are a team
in which there is "unity in diversity".

I would like to extend my congratulations to the Canadian Cricket Team for a wonderful job in defeating Bangladesh in their first match at the world cup level in over 20 years. Watching the boys in red via satellite was extraordinary, and the victory was overwhelming, you all have made us very proud. The determination to win the game was inevitable as soon as they stepped onto the field. Great fielding, coupled with exceptional bowling was the dagger that penetrated the opposition.
To the man of the match, AUSTIN CODRINGTON. In one word your control of your line and length was OUTSTANDING. Keep up the good work.
And to the rest of Canadian team, good luck in the rest of your remaining games.
