Styris, for his part, was destined to make a longer stay. After biding his time and building his innings early on, he began to truly blossom. Even the loss of his partners at disconcerting intervals did little to break the well-built all-rounder's composure and he was soon celebrating his maiden ODI ton. It was indeed a heroic effort from a hard-working cricketer.
