The other successful bowler for New Zealand was Jacob Oram. After
being carted for three sixes by Davison in his second over, Oram
returned to end with four wickets for 52 runs in his 10 overs.
But Davison's dismissive treatment and the fact that he was the
most wayward of the New Zealand bowlers, conceding as many as
seven wides, meant that, on the day, Oram was not quite the
bowling hero he set out to be.
