Working the ball around, they brought up their 50-run partnership off 44 balls before Styris celebrated by hitting a huge six onto the pavilion roof at long on. Two fours and a six followed as the big man made his way to the fourth fifty of his ODI career while guiding his team to a five-wicket win. With the rain-affected South Africa-Sri Lanka match ending in a tie later in the night, New Zealand, then, were through to the Super Sixes.
